Transportation

School Bus Assignments for the 2023-24 school year will be available in PowerSchool on August 1st.

Transportation Policies

Walk Zone

If you live “in-town” Pendleton within the walk zone and you have an elementary student, your child does not have bus service, but if you have a high school or middle school student, there are six different buses that have station stops around town. These students will be “assigned” to a bus. They need to walk to the closest station stop to their home. The list of bus drivers with their contact information and the Pendleton Walk-Zone Notice for PHHS and PHMS students will be posted on this page for your convenience.  Feel free to contact the bus driver for an approximate pick up time, location of station stop, and let the driver know to expect your child.

Changes to Student Transportation Needs
If your student’s transportation needs change during the school year such as separation, divorce, daycare change, or your child starts driving to and from school on a daily basis, please update in PowerSchool. It will send me a message if anything pertinent changes for your student regarding transportation.

It is not necessary to contact the Transportation Department directly about your student’s transportation services, as long as you log into PowerSchool (parent portal) and verify your student’s Form K. All information will download directly into the transportation software for route sheets.  We are trying to get the drivers the most accurate information possible for their routes for the 2023-2024 school year.

Non-Resident Students
Transportation is not provided for non-resident students outside of the school district boundaries. If your child goes to a child-care provider or family member’s home before and/or after school, that is the address needed under question number 3.

Contact Candy Stewart for any Transportation Questions.
