Superintendent

DrHallDr. Mark Hall is the Superintendent of South Madison Schools, a position that he began in July 2020.

Prior to this position, he served in a variety of positions in the district beginning in 2002 as Assistant Principal at Pendleton Heights Middle School, then as Assistant Principal at Pendleton Heights High School.  In 2010, Dr. Hall was named the Principal at Pendleton Heights High School and served in this position for eight years, before moving to the role of  Assistant Superintendent for Secondary Curriculum, Instruction, and College and Career readiness in 2018. 

Dr. Hall earned his Doctorate in Education from Ball State in 2018 after completing a study on the impact of 1:1 technology on various student outcomes including standardized test performance, graduation rates, and student attendance rates.  He has earned three additional degrees in education from Ball State beginning with his Bachelor of Science in1997, Masters in 2002, and Education Specialist in 2007.

Throughout his career, Dr. Hall has focused on creating learning experiences for all students that prepare them for either college or a career after graduation.
